Discretion is Paramount
Of course discretion and privacy is of paramount importance to guests and staffing will be tailored to your needs at all times.
My wife and I rented Blair Estate for a family gathering for 25, including children, teens and adults. We loved it!
Building – beautiful bedrooms, mostly with full bathrooms in immaculate condition – bedding was superior and soaps etc were first class.
Grounds – lovely area for walking or other outdoor activities required. We had a very successful “Highland Games” which is great fun for everybody. The pool was very popular!
Food – what can one say except all of the Meals were exceptional with great variety and superior food and preparation.
Staff – we were really impressed with the staff. Siobhan was such a pleasure to work with and was so helpful to us both before and during the event. The on-site staff were all caring, informative and completed their personal roles with a tremendous degree of pride and commitment.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blair Estate and would not hesitate in going back nor recommending the facility for whatever reason to a Family, Corporate or Personal.

Dinner for up to fifty, no problem. A family gathering for up to 38 are always welcome, as well as corporate events of course.
The Castle has seventeen spacious suites and bedrooms all with their own private bathroom facilities. In addition, the Castle boasts a luxurious two bedroom cottage in the grounds of Blair for additional guests. There is a minimum stay requirement of three nights although on occasion this can be waived.
Your event at Blair
Blair boasts several elegant reception rooms that are ideal for lounging, dining or hosting an inspirational corporate event. With a large Drawing Room and Dining Room, Blair can cater for more or less any event. Blair also offers flexible function rooms including the Guard Room, the oldest part of the Castle, the Norman tower dating back to 1105.
Our 1668 Drawing Room, named after the year of the South Wing’s construction is a large, spacious room with two open fires and comfortable seating areas, perfect for both relaxation and enjoying lively conversation and a ‘wee’ dram or two!
The William Fordyce Blair Dining Room facilitates those important grand celebratory dinners in its stunning oak panelled walls.
